In a recent post, we wrote about the introduction of the ESC Pharmacy. For us at Benecaid, we feel that the best way to support our clients with our products and services is for us to experience them ourselves. With the launch of the ESC Pharmacy program we had many staff members anxious to have their maintenance medications delivered conveniently to their home or office. I asked one of our long-time Benefit Consultants to share her experience.

I spoke with the team at ESC and they were very professional and fast at getting back to me and addressing my questions.
Within a short time I received my package in the mail with the pre-paid envelope and doctor’s information we had some reservations at first about the whole delivery process and the integrity of the ingredients-the pharmacists addressed our questions quickly and gave us the peace of mind to understand that the drugs themselves were shipped in a temperature controlled packaging that was not going in any way to compromise the effectiveness of the medication and everything was going to be the exact same as before the only difference was that the prescriptions would be delivered to my front door.
The pharmacy team was also very warm and indicated since where I am located if my spouse and I wanted to come by and visit that we could drop by since their facility was also located less than 10kms from my home.
I was also told that ESC could create a separate log in for my spouse so that we could each manage our own prescriptions if we wished. This was very convenient and helpful!
Once the medication arrived there was an issue with one of the prescriptions. We called ESC and they were able to promptly correct the issue. We have our medication delivered right to our doorstep the convenience is unmatched!
My tip for those looking to try this program would be to take the time to set up your account and medications properly; you have the option of doing it yourself online or calling someone on the phone!
